Jason Eldred, LPC, CRC

Do you wake up in the morning feeling dissatisfied with the current direction of your life? Or do you have those nagging intrusive thoughts that are filled with negative self-talk or constant worry? Have you recently been avoiding situations or conversations that may cause you to feel uncomfortable? Or do you feel like no matter how hard you try, it does not seem to matter or improve the situation? What about those pesky racing thoughts that have deterred you from accomplishing your daily goals? Do you have goals? Also, do you feel like you’re stuck in the past when reaching a goal is not something you’re even focused on? I could go on and on, but over time, these symptoms could lead to poor quality of life and long-term problems.

We have all been there at one point or another. Myself included. You’re probably still reading because maybe one of those questions you could relate to. Or maybe it did not fit exactly what you’re going through, but something is causing you distress. I am glad you made the decision to seek help and it takes a lot of courage to even get to this point. But there is help and I would be honored to speak with you about treatment.

If you have specific questions about treatment modalities, I would be happy to share them with you during our initial call. However, my approach to therapy is simple. I listen, I encourage, I advocate, and I provide feedback. At the core of therapy, we want to feel better and to do so, I believe we must identify goals, remove the barriers, and learn adaptive skills and habits to achieve our therapeutic goals.

My specialty areas include depression, anxiety, OCD, other related anxiety-related phobias, and adjustment disorders. I also have experience working with the adolescent population with these diagnoses along with ODD and other behavioral disturbances. I see adolescents starting at the age of 8, adults, and older adults.

If you decide that therapy would be helpful, please contact me so we can set-up an appointment. I offer a free initial telephonic consultation to answer questions, address any concerns, and talk about scheduling. I understand that if you’re making this call, things are not where they need to be, and I will do everything I can to make this a positive experience.
