Chantele Fox, LLPC
One of the biggest challenges we’re often face with as human beings is not only recognizing our moments of need but having the strength to ask for help. Knowing personally how impactful the therapeutic process can be, I approach the therapeutic relationship with my client’s as a unique opportunity to establish an empathic connection with another person by creating an understanding and confidential environment where they can experience their most vulnerable selves. I understand that each person I enter this relationship with will view their life experiences and selves through a lens different from my own. With this understanding, I believe in the cliché saying that “therapy is not a one-size-fits-all approach”, so I’ve adopted an integrated, client-centered approach seeking to treat the whole person and seek to address the physical, mental, spiritual, social, and emotional needs of my clients. By taking this approach, I can walk alongside you as you begin to understand more about yourself, your needs, and how you can best meet those needs. I am passionate about working with young adults and adults, with a special interest in addictions, personality disorders, anxiety disorders, and faith-based counseling (available upon request).
I am currently a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor (LLPC), having completed my master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling at Siena Heights University. I also hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a concentration in Mental Health from Madonna University, where I completed an undergraduate clinical internship at Saint Mary’s Hospital in the emergency department, as well as certification in Early Childhood Education from Schoolcraft College. My professional background includes more 14 years working with children birth through age 12, journalism, environment science, and customer service.
