Brandy earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from the University of Detroit Mercy. She also completed a specialized fellowship through CUSP (Counseling Under Served Populations), where she spent several months providing outpatient therapy and gaining extensive experience supporting individuals from diverse and underserved communities.

Brandy brings a broad range of professional experience to her work. She spent several years in foster care services, supporting adolescents who experienced significant childhood trauma and helping them successfully transition into young adulthood and independent living. Brandy currently works in a hospital setting, where she provides care for individuals with dual diagnoses involving mental health and substance use concerns. In addition, Brandy is a strong and affirming advocate for the LGBTQ+ community and is committed to creating an inclusive and supportive therapeutic space for all clients.

Brandy’s goal is to help you identify patterns, process past and present challenges, and develop healthier coping strategies so you can move forward with clarity and confidence. She is passionate about empowering individuals to lead mindfully healthy, balanced, and productive lives while prioritizing emotional growth and overall wellbeing.
